Azerbaijan's tourism opportunities are being demonstrated at an international exhibition in Austria

Azerbaijan's tourism opportunities are being demonstrated at the "Ferien-Messe Wien" exhibition held in the Austrian capital Vienna on March 14-17, organized by the State Tourism Agency.
 
Our country is represented at the exhibition by the Azerbaijan Tourism Board, "Azerbaijan Airlines" CJSC, hotels and tourism companies.
 
Visitors to the national stand are provided with detailed information on tourism product offers, including the sites included in the UNESCO World Heritage List as the historical center of Sheki, along with the Icherisheher, Gobustan Rock Art Cultural Landscape and Sheki Khan Palace. There is also a tasting of Azerbaijani wines and sweets, national dances are being demonstrated with the support of the Azerbaijani Cultural Center in Austria, and images reflecting Azerbaijan's tourism opportunities are being presented through VR (Virtual Reality) glasses.
 
The first two days of the “Ferien-Messe Wien” exhibition will feature B2B (Business to Business) meetings and the following days will feature B2C (Business to Customer) meetings.
 
The national stand was visited by the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Austria Rovshan Sadigbeyli.
 
As part of the promotion of Azerbaijani national cuisine and the “Slow Food” experience, a master class on “Preparation of Azerbaijani Pilaf” was organized for students at the Modul University in Vienna on March 13 with the support of the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Austria and the organization of the Azerbaijan Tourism Board.
 
The students were also presented with postcards containing recipes and necessary information.
 
Moreover, an event dedicated to the preservation of the country’s cultural heritage and the contributions made by Austria was held at the Azerbaijan Cultural Center on March 14, organized by the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Austria and with the participation of representatives of the foreign tourism industry.
